Investors ask me all the time “How do you pick syndicated deals to invest in?”

I only work with people I know like and trust! I learned this from getting burned from a loose referral that someone said was “good.” Plus it’s good to be connected with my personal Mastermind who gives me the scoops on pretty much everyone out there. Another thing is I have a ton of deal flow (typically a dozen a month).

I also check all the Profit and Loss statements and rent rolls and run the comps myself through my underwriting to backward engineer the assumptions that are being used in the proforma. 

I then scrutinize those assumptions to see if I want to invest my personal money into the deal.
